Perinatal Mental Health

I am certified in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C), trained to support individuals and families during pregnancy, postpartum, and the transition to parenthood.

Clouds

The perinatal period—from pregnancy through the first year postpartum—can be a time of significant emotional, physical, and identity changes. For many people, this period brings complex feelings that may include anxiety, sadness, overwhelm, numbness, anger, grief, or a sense of disconnection from yourself or others. These experiences can occur whether a pregnancy was planned, unplanned, wanted, complicated, or somewhere in between.

If you’re struggling during pregnancy or after having a baby, it doesn’t mean you’re doing something wrong or that you’re failing in this transition. Many people find that this stage of life brings challenges they did not expect or feel prepared for—and support can be an important part of navigating it.

How I can help

I provide therapy for individuals seeking support during pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenthood. I work with clients experiencing postpartum depression and anxiety, pregnancy-related stress, anger or irritability, birth trauma, identity shifts, difficulty adjusting to parenthood, and challenges with bonding.

I am certified in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C), which means I have specialized training in perinatal mood and anxiety disorders and in supporting people through the unique psychological and relational challenges of this period. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to your individual experiences, values, and needs.

Therapy can offer a space to slow down, make sense of what you’re feeling, and develop tools to support yourself with greater clarity and care. Whether you are feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, angry, or unsure of how to move forward, you do not have to navigate this alone.
